Kazeon's Leading Executives Discuss Industry Trends at Enterprise Information World

Storage Networking Industry Association's (SNIA) Enterprise Information World 2007 Conference

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwire - August 8, 2007) - Kazeon, a leading provider of enterprise information access solutions, today announced that Tom Thimot, Chief Operating Officer, and Steve d'Alencon, Vice President of Product Marketing, will present on two separate panels at this week's Storage Networking Industry Association's (SNIA) Enterprise Information World 2007 Conference, being held August 6-9 in San Francisco, Calif.

Data classification has emerged as a critical precursor to a successful eDiscovery strategy. Many companies have already embarked upon the massive task of sorting through immense amounts of electronically stored information, often scattered across networks and buried in a wide variety of file types. Over 80% of a company's information, including intellectual property, product plans, customer information, sales forecasts and personnel records, resides as unstructured data (documents and emails) somewhere on a network. This information is usually stored independent of its value to your business or its risk to your business. Recent amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP), compliance, and data privacy requirements dictate that you find, understand and manage this unstructured information.

On Wednesday, August 8, Thimot will separate fact from fiction in e-discovery and talk about how the FRCP will further shape the legal and compliance landscape. On Thursday, August 9, d'Alencon will discuss the top miscalculations companies make during data classification and migration and incorrect assumptions that can cripple an entire operation and waste thousands of IT dollars.
