Prince William Public Library System Offers New Downloadable Audio Book Collection

PRINCE WILLIAM, VA--(Marketwire - August 9, 2007) - The Prince William Public Library System is proud to announce that popular audio books are now available for download at http://princewilliam.lib.overdrive.com. Card holders of PWPL can download best sellers and top list titles for adults, teens, and children to their computers, transfer onto MP3 players, or burn select titles to CD.

To access the Download & Go collection, all you need is a Prince William library card and Internet connection. Patrons can borrow up to three titles for two weeks. Downloadable audio books expire automatically at the end of the lending period, so there are no late fees. Users can place titles on hold and be notified via e-mail when they are available for download.

Patrons can learn about the service by reading the Quick Start Guide or taking the Download Digital Media Guided Tour, which is available on the website. The service, provided by OverDrive, Inc., of Cleveland, Ohio, is free and easy to use.

The OverDrive Media Console software will operate on computers running Windows 98 SE and above, including Microsoft Vista.
