"There have been significant improvements made to our public services," Mayor Dan Reiman stated, "which have included upgrades to our equipment and resources. This has been owed in no small part to companies like Middlesex Water, who recognize the importance of the services these departments provide on a daily basis. On behalf of our residents and the Office of Emergency Management, I thank those who have made this donation possible."

"We are grateful to Middlesex Water for this generous donation as we were in need of a response vehicle to assist in public safety," added Borough Councilman Vincent Bellino. "This gesture demonstrates how businesses and municipalities can effectively partner to meet the needs of local agencies and area residents," added Bellino.

The utility vehicle, used by Company crews to serve its water customers, will now have an extended life serving the emergency needs of the Borough.

"We are pleased to be able to assist the Carteret OEM with this vehicle donation," said Dennis W. Doll, Middlesex Water President and CEO. "We value our role as a good corporate neighbor and are delighted to give back to our community in ways that have a practical and positive impact," said Doll.
