Cordys and NetManage Sign Global Partnership Agreement

PUTTEN, The Netherlands and CUPERTINO, Calif., Oct. 10, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Cordys, provider of an industry-leading Business Process Management Suite (BPMS), and NetManage, Inc. (Nasdaq:NETM), a software company that provides the fastest way to transform legacy applications into new Web-based business solutions, last week announced their partnership at Cordial, Cordys' annual customer and partner event. This global partnership will open up joint revenue opportunities across North America, India and Europe.

"Our solutions help customers to access, integrate and Web-enable their existing legacy systems and packaged applications like SAP," said Cheli Aflalo-Karpel, VP Operations EMEA of NetManage. "Composing flexible business processes, while re-using the functionality in their existing systems is of great value to our joint customers. They will benefit the most from this partnership."

NetManage transforms legacy applications into new Web-based solutions by exposing critical business functions as services. Cordys' BPMS solution then allows for these services to be composed into executable business process flows. Both companies are currently engaged in several joint sales opportunities.

"We are very pleased to announce this global partnership with NetManage," said Erik Frieberg, Chief Marketing Officer for Cordys. "The addition of NetManage capabilities to the Cordys product suite will enable a whole new class of enterprise systems to be exposed as services and incorporated into new business processes and composite applications."
