Leader in Concentrator Photovoltaic Technology Prepares for Growth of Solar Market With Key New Hires


SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - October 15, 2007) - GreenVolts (www.greenvolts.com), a leader in high concentration photovoltaic technology and wholesale distributed energy, today introduced Shaun Ferguson as the company's Vice President of Global Supply Chain and Craig Lewis as its Vice President of Government Relations.

Mr. Ferguson joins GreenVolts with more than 20 years of experience in building and managing worldwide supply chains for large manufacturing contracts. Mr. Lewis brings more than two decades of experience building government relationships at the state, federal and international levels across a number of high growth industries.

Shaun Ferguson has more than 20 years in manufacturing and outsourced management. Prior to joining Greenvolts, Mr. Ferguson held a number of positions in the contract manufacturing industry, including VP of Global Operations for Sanmina-SCI where he was responsible for program and product managers worldwide. While there, he also built a worldwide team managing one of Sanmina's largest strategic accounts. In this role, Mr. Ferguson was responsible for new product introduction from its conception through to its deployment and implementation in low cost regions. He has also built and managed teams in both materials and manufacturing operations for the Aerospace industry at Space Systems Loral and Northrop Grumman.

Craig Lewis joins GreenVolts with over 20 years of experience working in high growth industries, including solar, wireless, and semiconductor. Prior to GreenVolts, Mr. Lewis owned and operated an independent government relations consultancy catering to solar technology companies. He also spearheaded the development of the energy policy for Steve Westly's California gubernatorial campaign. Additionally, Mr. Lewis has held senior corporate development and external relations positions at wireless and semiconductor leaders, including Qualcomm, Ericsson, LinCom Wireless, Comarco Wireless, and Altera. He was active in lobbying for the long-sought approval of CDMA technology in China, and has led the establishment of several successful business operations throughout Asia. Mr. Lewis received his MBA and MSEE from the University of Southern California, and his BSEE from UC Berkeley.
