(OTCBB:CDIF), has entered into an agreement with Commerce Bank, the principal subsidiary of Commerce Bancshares, Inc. (Nasdaq:CBSH) to be the credit card issuer for the Simply Brilliant(tm) Rewards Credit Card.
The Simply Brilliant(tm) Rewards Credit Card provides Missouri residents a financial vehicle program that assists parents in saving for their children's future educational opportunities. The Simply Brilliant(tm) Rewards Credit Card provides a tax-free educational savings fund that benefits with daily card usage from Legacy's network of distinguished Missouri businesses and nationally recognized merchants who contribute up to 10% of the purchase to the designated child's 529 educational account of the Cardmember.
Additionally, Commerce Bank will contribute one percent of the net purchase sale into the Cardmember's tax-free 529 education account where it grows tax-free, year after year, and can be withdrawn tax-free when needed to pay for higher education expenses.
As part of the agreement, Legacy Card Company will utilize Denver based Rainbow Rewards USA, Inc. to track all Simply Brilliant(tm) Rewards.
To provide hope to Missouri's Foster Care Children that higher education is attainable, Legacy Card Company established Mission: Tuition(tm) as a 501 (c) 3 foundation to provide scholarships to those children whose economic reality may preclude them from an education beyond high school.
