TMPG Names Cathy Egan New SVP of Business Development; Egan Was Top Executive At ABC-TV National Television Sales

Firm Also Names New Creative Director, Compliance Administrator


WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Nov. 27, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- TMPG, Inc., the multi-award winning independent media promotion company, has announced the appointment of Cathy Egan as Senior Vice President of Business Development.

Ms. Egan comes to TMPG from ABC Television where she held the post of SVP of Marketing and Business Development/National TV Sales.

The firm also named Shari Sobine as the new Creative Director, and Dina Dessner as Compliance Administrator.

TMPG was founded by Mr. Valentino in 1991 as a media promotion company with a niche in non-traditional radio. Based in White Plains, NY, the firm has a represented a host of blue chip clients including Kraft, HBO, American Express, BMW and Sara Lee.

Ms. Egan, a resident of Harrison, NY, has an extensive career in electronic media management, research, new media sales, sports marketing and new business development. In 2006, she was named one of the top 25 "Women Who Rule in Sales & Marketing" by American Women in Radio and Television.

She also serves on boards and advisory committees for charitable organizations including the Carver Center in Port Chester, NY, the P.O.T.S. soup kitchen in the Bronx and the Make A Wish Foundation of New York.

New Creative Director

Shari Sobine, TMPG's new Creative Director, was Senior Promotion Manager for Advertising Age and Creativity magazines, and Sales Promotion Manager at ABC National Television Sales.

A graduate of Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communication, Ms. Sobine will focus on the creation of client-specific proposals for large-scale promotional programs. She will also help the firm and its clients make the transition into the 'digital realm' with programs featuring more online and mobile components.

Copy Compliance Administrator

Dina Dessner, TMPG's new Compliance Administrator, has ten years experience in retail management, radio broadcasting, marketing, advertising and content development.

A White Plains resident and a graduate of Western Connecticut State University, Ms. Dessner has created promotional and commercial copy for both the print and broadcast media. In addition to overseeing copy content, she will be responsible for developing new advertising strategy and promotional concepts.
