Drugstore Chain Incorporates Product Into All GNC LiveWell Locations

AMHERST, N.Y., Dec. 18, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- HealthSport, Inc. (OTCBB:HSPO), a fully integrated developer, manufacturer and marketer of branded nutritional supplements in a one-of-a-kind edible film strip delivery system, announced today that its thin-strip electrolyte delivery system, Enlyten SportStrips (http://enlytenstrips.com), will be available at all 1,250 GNC LiveWell(tm) store-within-a-store locations inside Rite Aid starting in January 08. The inclusion of HealthSport's product is part of the initiative by Rite Aid and GNC to provide convenience and quality in products, services and information.

"Our distribution at GNC LiveWell(tm) locations within Rite Aid positions our product for brand awareness and growth with their customers. Rite Aid and GNC brands are well known for their solid performance as retailers of choice for health and wellness information and our association will yield positive results for HealthSport," said Gary Thomas, Vice President of Sales of Enlyten, Inc. "As we continue to educate consumers, we want to align our product with retailers that understand how Enlyten SportStrips aid in hydration, whether it's the elite athlete or soccer moms."

In January 1999, Rite Aid formed a strategic partnership with General Nutrition Companies, Inc. (GNC), the largest specialty retailer of vitamins, mineral supplements, sports nutrition and herbal products. This partnership created GNC "stores within stores" in Rite Aid drugstores across the country. Rite Aid and GNC also comarket a line of vitamins and nutritional supplements sold in Rite Aid and GNC stores.

Rite Aid Corporation is one of the nation's leading drugstore chains with annual revenues of more than $27 billion and approximately 5,100 stores in 31 states and the District of Columbia. GNC, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa., is the largest global specialty retailer of nutritional products; including vitamin, mineral, herbal and other specialty supplements and sports nutrition, diet and energy products. GNC has more than 4,800 retail locations throughout the United States (including more than 1,000 franchise and 1,250 Rite Aid store-within-a-store locations) and franchise operations in 48 international markets.

GNC gives Rite Aid another unique offering that customers can't get at any other drugstore and complements Rite Aid's overall focus on being the customer's first choice for health and wellness products, services and information.
