Donatos Serves Up iWay Software's DataMigrator for BI and New Data Warehouse

Donatos relied on a variety of ways of gathering and analyzing data, including three different point-of-sale (POS) systems. They needed to reconcile all data from these legacy POS systems into one data warehouse, migrating from SQL Server 7 to SQL Server 2005, to make information easily and quickly available for enterprise-wide reporting. Donatos discovered that the data integration required would be easier to complete with iWay Software's easy, automated extract, transform, and load (ETL) capabilities.

For example, DataMigrator's primary key logic determined whether a row of data incorporated into the warehouse needed to be inserted as a new data set, or to simply be replaced as an update. This capability yielded the same result as other ETL programs, but without the tedious migration process of coding.
