NEW YORK, May 23, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Directors of PCM Fund, Inc. (the "Fund") (NYSE:PCM), a closed-end management investment company which seeks a high level of current income as a primary objective and capital gains as a secondary objective, announced today that it has declared a dividend of $0.07 cents per share.
The dividend will be payable on June 6, 2008 to shareholders of record on June 2, 2008, with an ex-dividend date of May 29, 2008.
Commencing in June 2008, the Fund's monthly dividend will be declared on the first business day of each month and paid on the first business day of the following month.
At April 30, 2008, the Fund's net assets were $116.5 million.
