Unimax Announces 2nd Nature Version 6.6

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwire - June 3, 2008) - Unimax Systems Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise voice administration applications, today announced version 6.6 of its patented 2nd Nature® software with expanded compatibility for recent product releases from Avaya, Cisco, and Nortel. With this release, Unimax strengthens its unique ability to provide enterprise-wide provisioning, reporting, and other capabilities within multi-vendor voice system environments.

-- Continued commitment to multi-vendor PBX and voice messaging interoperability

With 2nd Nature 6.6, Unimax now offers full compatibility for Avaya Modular Messaging 4.0 and compatibility for Cisco Unified Communications Manager 6.1(1). Additionally, 2nd Nature has been designated a Nortel Compatible Product in the Communication Server 1000 5.0 and CallPilot 5.0 environments.

-- Microsoft Active Directory integration enhancements

Building on the integration to Microsoft Active Directory released in version 6.5, 2nd Nature now provides administrators the ability to capture all groups to which a user belongs in Active Directory or to capture all members of a group. Administrators can also export this information to a separate file. The ability to easily retrieve this information and systematically compare it to voice mail list memberships gives administrators more powerful audit and data reconciliation capabilities.

-- Visibility to Available Resources

Telecom administrators can now use a standard 2nd Nature report view to easily query unassigned communication assets, such as extensions or voice mailboxes. The report polls managed systems, regardless of vendor, providing a system-wide view of resource availability for optimal asset management and planning.
