JetBlue Airways Reports July Traffic


NEW YORK, Aug. 6, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- JetBlue Airways Corporation (Nasdaq:JBLU) reported today that its traffic in July increased 1.7 percent from July 2007, on a capacity increase of 2.1 percent.

Load factor for July 2008 was 86.6 percent, a decrease of 0.3 points from July 2007. JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 96.8 percent and its on-time(1) performance was 64.7 percent. JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of July increased 11 percent year over year.
