Thoroughbred Racing Fans All Over the World Voted for Cardmania as Their Favorite 'Perfect Trip'

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - October 24, 2008) - Sentient Flight Group, a leading provider of private air travel solutions, in coordination with the Breeders' Cup, today announced Cardmania's win in the 1993 Breeders' Cup Sprint as the winner of the 2008 'Perfect Trip' Award. Over 16,000 votes were cast in the polling by Thoroughbred racing fans all over the world. Runners-up in the contest were Street Sense, who won the Juvenile in 1996, despite 15-1 odds in a 13 horse field, and Personal Ensign, who won the 1988 Distaff with 12 undefeated races prior to her last race.

Cardmania, owned by Jean Couvercelle and trained by Derek Meredith, was victorious in a surprise, come-from-behind win at the 1993 Sprint, which included an unprecedented three previous Breeders' Cup winners in the race. Renowned Thoroughbred journalist Bob Mieszerski nominated this Perfect Trip, which was recognized for the perfect timing jockey Eddie Delahoussaye displayed, lining up Cardmania just in time to win the race and showcasing his true precision and skill as a Hall of Fame jockey.

"Sentient Flight Group's 'Perfect Trip' campaign is a wonderful platform to pay tribute to Thoroughbred racing's finest talent, and we're thrilled to honor Cardmania's famous victory as the ultimate perfect trip," said William S. Farish, Jr. Chairman, Breeders' Cup Limited.

"I am incredibly proud that Cardmania, a horse that had been claimed in France, was able to reach the highest echelon in racing and become a recognized international success as the winner of the Breeders' Cup Sprint and the Eclipse Award," said Jean Couvercelle, owner of Cardmania. "That day, Cardmania not only gave us the perfect trip -- he gave us the perfect dream."
