MIAMI BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - November 24, 2008) - ACT Productions has inked a deal to continue, for the fourth year now, to be the Official Provider of the many Audio / Visual (A/V) and production needs of Art Basel Miami Beach, the US venue for the world-famous Switzerland-based art show. Basel's needs include different exhibitions and events throughout the day-to-day shows, as well as the varied official parties and satellite events.
This year, ACT is also producing the famous yearly Art Basel concert, Art Loves Music. The concert is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 10:00 PM and will be held on the beach, just outside of Art Positions in the 22nd Street area.
From Thursday, Dec. 4 to Tuesday, Dec. 9, and spread over several venues on Miami Beach, including the Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami Beach Botanical Gardens and on the beach itself just off of 22nd Street, Art Basel offers several video and sound exhibitions to complement the many pieces of renowned fine art that are displayed and sold each year, as well as the art-themed events that take place all over Miami Beach. For example, the Art Basel Video Lounge, which is set up in the Botanical Gardens, provides guests with meticulously chosen works of video art from around the world.
