Devoted to Giving Back, Wellness International Network Brightens Holidays for Children's Advocacy Center

PLANO, TX--(Marketwire - December 8, 2008) - Wellness International Network, Ltd. (WIN), an undisputed nutritional leader known for its top-selling weight management line BioLean® System and highly concentrated omega-3 supplement, WINOmeg3complex™, recently brightened up the holidays for several local children. Ralph Oats and Wellness International Network donated toys, bikes, clothing and shoes for the 2008 Adopt-A-Child Project benefiting the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center, which improves the lives of abused children in the Dallas area.

"Reaching out and giving others the opportunity to realize their potential is the foundation of Wellness International Network," shares Ralph Oats, Founder of Wellness International Network. "Our company helps people all over the world improve their lives, their futures and their physical, mental and financial wellness."

Wellness International Network employees gathered and wrapped Christmas gifts for 35 boys and girls aged 3 months to 16 years. Enjoying the true giving spirit of the holidays, Wellness International Network employees also dropped off the presents at the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center, marking the fifth year Wellness International Network has supported this charitable organization.

"I couldn't imagine sitting down at Christmas with my child and not having a single thing to open," says Teel Briggs, distributor relations supervisor at Wellness International Network. "Adults can go without opening presents but not children."

"When families are faced with life's difficult challenges, toys and new clothes are a low priority when you're trying to deal with more basic needs like food and shelter," says Sheri Matthews, Director of Marketing & Communications and a mother herself. "That's why it brought tears to my eyes to see all those bicycles, coats, clothes, shoes and toys for those sweet kids and hopefully those gifts resulted in just a little less pressure for their families, too. I'm just so proud my company continues to reach out to help others."

Christmas isn't the only time for giving as Wellness International Network supports charitable organizations throughout the year. Wellness International Network's favorite charities include: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Wipe Out Kids' Cancer, The Wheelchair Foundation, Hearts Together for Haiti, Red Cross, disaster relief efforts, Rainbow Days, local schools and many other charitable organizations.

"It's a wonderful feeling to know the whole company pitched in, and everyone was happy to help," shares Katrinka Fundora, order entry specialist at Wellness International Network. "It's a good feeling to give and put a smile on a child's face."
