NEW YORK, Dec. 22, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Travelzoo (Nasdaq:TZOO), a global Internet media company, has honored Adam Peet, an 8-year old boy from Wichita, Kan., for the holiday toy drive that he organized for needy children in his community. Travelzoo presented Adam, his parents and his brother with a surprise 4-day trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla. on last Thursday's broadcast of the nationally syndicated program 'The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet.'

"We are honored to present Adam and his family with a trip to acknowledge his gracious efforts this holiday season," said Shirley Tafoya, President of Travelzoo North America. "Travelzoo is about inspiring and enriching people's lives every day. Adam's selfless efforts will enrich many lives this holiday season and hopefully inspire others to do the same."

This is the second year Adam has collected holiday toys for needy children in his community.
