Poetry for the Soul -- New Anthology is a Refreshing Tonic to Lift Up One's Spirits

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., March 10, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Poetry is more than just the clever arrangement of words that rhyme. It is also the art, employing the creative use of verses, of being able to convey one's thoughts and emotions to others in meaningful ways. Let Rev. Duane A. Martin's eloquent words capture the raw emotions and feelings of life and human existence as he guides you Through Sunshine & Rain.

Rev. Martin's poetry encompasses a wide variety of styles, from the romantic to the spiritual. He masterfully uses words and parallelisms to express his thoughts and share his insights on the human condition. As you read these poems, you may laugh and enjoy them and perhaps offer you some new perspective in evaluating circumstances in your own life. If, however, you should weep, the author feels that would be the greatest compliment one could ever give a poet, for then your soul will have communed with his. As one admirer wrote:

"...[Duane] has a remarkable ability to sense the emotions around him. He can feel what you are feeling as though the feeling was his own. Empathy defines Duane. That's why he is called 'The Feeling Poet.'" -- Carlos Gorrio, Senior Professional Healthcare Consultant, Pfizer, Inc.
