Mechdyne Announces Vendor-Neutral Technical Service for Advanced Visualization Environments

Global Technical Services Division Provides One Contact for Global Support of Any Projection-Based Visualization and Collaboration System

MARSHALLTOWN, IA--(Marketwire - March 30, 2009) - Mechdyne Corporation today introduced its Global Technical Services Division, a business unit built on the foundation of the Mechdyne customer service group that now offers global maintenance contract and repair services for advanced visualization systems based on projection technologies from any manufacturer. For companies with globally dispersed visualization and collaboration systems, Mechdyne can provide a single point of contact for all countries. Visualization system managers who are not satisfied with service from their existing provider, or who have systems sourced from multiple vendors, can consolidate all service contracts with a single provider of consistent and professional care.

Exceptional technical support is recognized as one of Mechdyne's strengths, earning the company high ratings in customer satisfaction surveys, and the new Division offers the same levels of support to any organization operating visualization/collaboration centers. Operating from locations in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, Mechdyne service professionals support all high resolution 2D and 3D stereoscopic system configurations, ranging from single to multi-projector and multi-screen environments and associated image generators and peripheral equipment.

Mechdyne is uniquely qualified to provide technical services, based on its world-leading list of installations and experience with technology from all manufacturers of high-lumen projection systems, including Christie, Barco, Digital Projection, Hitachi, Sony and others. The company's technicians have experience with and are regularly trained to maintain, test and/or repair all visualization components, including display technology, graphics computer clusters, networked systems and peripherals. The company currently delivers services to a range of clients, including leading oil and gas exploration and production firms, government and military sites, defense industry suppliers, and universities and research centers.

"We are winning service contracts based on the ability to provide true global coverage with local response times," said Matthew McKaig, Global Technical Services Manager. "Regardless of where a system is in place or whether the client has a single installation or multi-site networked visualization centers, Mechdyne can deploy service professionals with technology expertise and practical, hands-on experience."

Mechdyne offers both standard service plans and custom contracts to accommodate specific requirements. Preventive maintenance, system tuning, training for client operating and support staff are offered, and Mechdyne's RITA (Real-time Information Ticket Access) database for status information on all visualization systems is included in the technical support contract.
