The new program bridges the transition to everyday life for patients stepping down from more intensive treatment, while simultaneously building structure into the lives of individuals seeking a treatment option that allows them to continue working or attending school.

In an eight-week cycle, patients attend four-hour sessions that include dinner on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Individual, group and family activities center around building mindfulness, values awareness and connection with self and others, enabling patients to integrate recovery behaviors into their post-treatment lives. Classes and therapy sessions focus on body image, nutrition and other key recovery skills.
