uTest Selected to Address the Future of Crowdsourced Software Testing at Under the Radar 2009

CEO and Co-Founder Doron Reuveni Chosen to Present at Premier Event for Innovative Startups

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - April 21, 2009) - uTest®, the world's largest software testing marketplace, today announced that CEO Doron Reuveni will present at the 11th Annual Under the Radar Conference in Mountain View, Calif. on April 24. Of the hundreds of companies that applied, uTest is part of a select group of 24 companies invited to present at Silicon Valley's most established startup debut platform.

Past participants include pioneering startups, such as Flickr, LinkedIn and Pandora. In the past three years, companies selected to present at the conference have gone on to raise more than $1.36 billion in funding, or an average of $14 million per company.

Under the Radar is the premier industry event for up-and-coming startups. Reuveni will take part in the "Applications" track, reviewing uTest's successes in the past year, as well as the positive outlook for the future of crowd- or community-sourced software testing.

"The fact that Dealmaker Media has selected uTest to present at this prestigious event is an honor and further validation of our model and growth potential," said Reuveni. "The need for software testing is immense, and uTest's global QA community is uniquely suited to help our customers launch higher quality web and mobile apps, get to market faster, and reduce testing costs across the board."

Since its launch in August 2008, uTest has built a global community of 16,000 professional testers, won more than 100 new customers, expanded into mobile application testing, added to its executive team, and raised $5.2 million in B round of funding from Longworth Partners and Egan Managed Capital.
