The Farmetrics Prediction Market Announces Top 10 Winners for 2008

Michigan Resident Takes Top Honor

ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwire - May 14, 2009) - The Farmetrics® Prediction Market, which offers participants an innovative way to gain critical information on planted acreage, yield and harvested acreage for a variety of crops, announced today the top 10 winners for its 2008 contests. Winners were determined by the number of Reward Points they accumulated, which are awarded based on the accuracy of the participants' predictions versus the United States Department of Agriculture results for the year. These Reward Points can be redeemed for award cards, which can be used for a variety of retail merchandise, travel and entertainment options. The complete list of award options is available at www.maxpointscard.com.

Throughout 2008, participants in Farmetrics made weekly predictions at www.farmetrics.com, based on the county the user selected. Each county offered contests relative to crops produced in the area and the specific crop season. New contests began each week, during which time all predictions from the previous week were aggregated and shared, providing participants with an overview of other predictions made in that specific county and across the country. In addition to receiving Reward Points based on accuracy, participants were awarded Bonus Reward Points for consistent participation.

Pamela Cutchall of Jonesville, Mich., a manufacturing firm controller and farmer, won the most Reward Points in the contests offered by Farmetrics in 2008. She has been a Farmetrics participant for two years and plans to purchase a large flat screen television with her winnings.

"I am absolutely stunned that I won," said Pamela Cutchall. "My family and I live on a 700-acre corn and soybean farm that we all work on, which makes our free time extremely valuable. The prediction making process is really easy and only takes a few minutes to do. When making my predictions, I simply factor in the conditions I see in our county and on our farm."

The top 10 winners, along with their city and state of residence, are:

1. Pamela Cutchall, Jonesville, Mich.
2. Brad Adams, Urbana, Ill.
3. Jay West, Salisbury, Md.
4. Steve Hudson, Blytheville, Ark.
5. Sean Elliot, Chebanse, Ill.
6. Damian Adams, Clifton, Ill.
7. Scott Fisher, Decatur, Ind.
8. J. Armstrong, Muscotah, Kan.
9. Eric Miller, Ligonier, Ind.
10. Donald Johnson, Camden, Mich.

"2008 was a very successful year for participants in the Farmetrics Prediction Market," said Dan Erz, Farmetrics representative and Grain Marketing Specialist for Bunge North America. "For the 2008 contests, we awarded Farmetrics participants with nearly 5 million Reward Points. The information shared in Farmetrics is valuable to the participants and Bunge alike. The exchange of insight benefits both parties, and the participants have an added incentive to win these award cards that can be used to purchase a wide variety of goods and services."
