Nectar's Support of Multi-Vendor Environment Bridges Gap for Nortel

Company Executives See Great Potential With Avaya Deal

FARMINGDALE, NY--(Marketwire - July 23, 2009) - Nectar Services Corp., a provider of VoIP communications services and wholly-owned subsidiary of Juma Technology Corp (OTCBB: JUMT), commented on recent news that Avaya has entered into a "stalking horse" agreement for Nortel's Enterprise Solutions business, saying the pending sale brings with it great potential for Nectar.

The Nectar platforms provide a much needed bridge to help Nortel customers maintain their existing systems while transitioning to a new telephony vendor. Nectar's solutions have the ability to manage multi-vendor environments while providing visibility into a company's entire telephony architecture.

Nectar's vendor-agnostic solutions, combined with the company's own thriving channel program, well positions Nectar as a vehicle for Nortel partners and clients as they move into whatever the next chapter will bring.

"Clearly, the Nortel customer base and successful channel program are both coveted jewels that brings with them great revenue potential," said Joe Fuccillo, Nectar's Chief Technology Officer. "Nectar provides a transition strategy for Nortel customers regardless of who ultimately ends up with those assets, but our strong partnership with Avaya certainly makes an Avaya-Nortel organization that much more attractive for us," continued Fuccillo.

"At the end of the day, if Avaya ultimately triumphs in its bid for Nortel, the overall success will hinge on their ability to hang on to those Nortel customers and transition them to an Avaya solution, and that's where Nectar comes into play."

Nectar is a Platinum Avaya DevConnect partner that has developed tools to facilitate IP telephony transition strategies and deliver unified management capabilities for complex architectures.

Fuccillo said that Nectar's ability to manage a mixed telephony environment and accelerate the Avaya Aura platform makes Nectar a key factor in penetrating the Nortel customer base.

"From our perspective, we're the perfect bridge for Avaya or any other vendor to really penetrate and maximize the Nortel customer base. Managing an advanced telephony system is difficult to begin with, add in multiple vendors and it just complicates things even more. With Nectar, we make management easy and that is going to be a big factor for these customers," said Fuccillo.

Fuccillo said that Nectar is in a unique position to help Avaya penetrate the customer base and bring existing Nortel resellers into the fold.

"Without question, the sale of the Nortel enterprise division creates an enormous opportunity in our market, and we're in an extraordinary position to capitalize on that opportunity."
