BrainTrack Announces Twice Yearly Nursing Scholarship

Will Help Prospective Nurses Learn From Current Nursing Students

MARLBOROUGH, MA--(Marketwire - September 8, 2009) - BrainTrack, the widely referenced higher-education resource, today announced The BrainTrack Nursing Schools Scholarship, a biannual scholarship for students currently studying to become a nurse, such as an LPN or RN, or to advance their education as a nurse via associate, bachelor, masters, or doctoral degree programs. Designed to help others evaluate nursing career options, BrainTrack's scholarship will provide a $1,000 first place and $500 runner up award each semester for the best essays about an entrant's experiences as a nursing student. BrainTrack Nursing Schools Scholarship rules and entry form are available at: http://www.braintrack.com/colleges-by-career/registered-nurses#scholarship.

The BrainTrack Nursing Schools Scholarship helps current students pay for their education. Entrants must respond to essay questions that are geared toward helping people evaluate nursing as a potential career path. BrainTrack will publish online those essays which prove most helpful to future students. The scholarship is open to students with at least one semester of credits towards graduation with an appropriate degree in nursing. The judges will include independent nursing professionals as well as BrainTrack staff.

Applicants must be currently taking classes in an appropriate nursing degree program. Studies can be full-time, part-time, on-campus, or online and must be at an accredited U.S. college. There are no fees for entry and all entrant names and contact information will be kept private for use only in the scholarship, except for the winners whose names will be published. The next two submission deadlines are November 1, 2009 and March 1, 2010.
