TOMI CEO Issues Letter to Shareholders

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Sept. 14, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- To our Shareholders:

TOMI Environmental Solutions (OTCBB:TOMZ) (www.tomiesinc.com) is a healthcare technology company armed with the world's 2nd and 3rd strongest oxidizers, which possess the weapons of viral destruction. We are becoming a leader in air remediation as a method of treatment of infectious diseases. Our technology is the baseline treatment for many of the maladies plaguing the human race right now.

As TOMI's CEO and Chairman, the time is right to answer questions asked by various shareholders and the media.

1. What direction is the company going?

The current public focus is on infectious diseases, such as swine flu, and contamination of indoor structures, such as schools, colleges, universities, offices, municipal buildings, sports arenas, and other public gathering places. TOMI is well positioned to treat structures that have to be closed because of pandemic flu outbreaks. We treated a high school in Brooklyn, New York quickly and easily, mitigating the risk of a repeat of any infectious disease. 47,000 possible structures in the Los Angeles basin have suffered smoke, soot, and particle damage in the recent fires. We have been retained to use our ozone deep cleaning to remediate smoke odors in homes after the soot and particles are cleaned. We can do this anywhere in the world with much less financial impact on the global economic structure than any other known action.

Associated Press. "The Massachusetts Senate recently passed S18 giving the governor the power to authorize the deployment and use of force to distribute supplies and materials, and local authorities will be allowed to enter private residences for investigation and to quarantine individuals. As other states adopt similar practices, we believe our company's products will be in great demand to assist with decontamination and deep cleaning of the indoor air and surfaces of these contaminated spaces."

2. What are the core company products?

We have 4 products to treat and maintain all indoor space. Our first product is a UV-propriety ozone generator that produces pure ozone applied in unoccupied spaces, and which is by-product free. Our second product is our Ultra-D disinfectant, which uses a mist of hydroxyl radicals to decontaminate small and medium size spaces in less than an hour. The third and fourth control and prevent further and future decontamination in all structures, along with reducing energy and coil cleaning cost in HVAC systems. They are our monster UVGI Terminator and Filtration devices.

3. What has TOMI developed recently?

Our company has just finished the second-generation hospitality decontamination unit. We will utilize this system in hotel rooms after checkout to give the hotel owners an additional weapon in treating indoor air and surfaces contamination. All of our study groups show that almost 80 percent of the people surveyed would prefer a greener, decontaminated room upon check-in. The same percentage would pay a small up charge for the benefits of such a service.

4. What is the status of the Strategic Alliance with Rolyn Companies?

Rolyn Companies has been very important in the introduction of our products and services to the certified remediation industry. We are still in the process of completing a large project for them in New York City using our technically advanced ultraviolet ozone generators in the treatment of approximately 350,000 square feet of commercial space that was contaminated with smoke. We have just supplied them with one of our commercial vans to be used in the Maryland and Washington D.C. area for their clients. TOMI has just completed the second of two in-services to some of their employees at Rolyn's corporate headquarters. We feel that our alliance with Rolyn will be extremely rewarding for both parties.

5. In relationship to the ADTec agreement have there been any further developments?

Yes. We just completed a presentation to a large East Coast hospital system and service company on the advantages of our Ultra-D disinfection system. A test of our bio-decontamination procedure will be performed in the last week of September, demonstrating our ability to eradicate nosocomial pathogens, the cause of HAI (hospital -acquired infections) which are responsible for the deaths of 271 people a day, or the equivalent of one airline crash. HAIs are the fourth leading cause of death in America. More people die from HAIs than AIDS, breast cancer and auto accidents combined. Research shows that three quarters of patient's rooms are contaminated with MRSA (Methicillin resistant Staph-Aureus) and VRE (Vancomycin-resistant Enterococci). Our system kills bacteria in the air, on counter tops, bedrails, bedside tables, and other surfaces. It will reduce the rate of infection in healthcare and reduce expensive litigation costs. The capsules used in our fogger and chamber create a recurring revenue stream for TOMI. Our room and equipment bio-decontamination service can also be applied to athletic and sporting equipment.

6. UVGI seems to be re-emerging in the light of the recent swine flu pandemic. How will TOMI take advantage of this resurgence?

Our Terminator and Filtration is the monster of the industry. We make a stainless steel, custom-sized, USA manufactured, UVGI (Ultra-Violet Germicidal Irradiation) device with a large kill field and a lifetime guaranteed filter, with a MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) rating of 11 and anti-microbial inserts. Recently, a federal IAQ panel examined the science of swine flu and recommended the use of MERV rated filters and germicidal UV lights. Also the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers) board just recently printed their position document on airborne infectious disease: "Airborne infectious disease transmission can be reduced using filtration and UVGI." This positions us to be a leader in this aspect of control of infectious disease in structures.

7. Are you seeking to raise additional capital?

Yes, we are in discussions with 3 different institutional sources of funding to expand our inventory, hire senior and middle management personnel, and make acquisitions and complete development on further generations of our products.

8. How does TOMI plan on servicing all the potential need for its products and service?

Growth for TOMI in these vital areas of service has, quite frankly, outstripped our resources. Although we have sped up recruitment and training of our service representatives, a costly and laborious process, and added trucks to our fleet, the only way for us to manage our explosive enlargement is to expand our relationships with professional remediators that have global coverage. We will create the world's first certification board in Indoor Air Remediation and Infectious Disease, a certified body of professionals, who will use our products and methodology applications to offer our treatment air remediation to their existing client bases worldwide. Our technically advanced equipment along with its pharmacological reaction based products will allow additional professional remediators to add significant revenue to their existing financial models.

We at TOMI Environmental Solutions are very upbeat about our future. Our services have come into fashion as the world, both developed and developing countries, realize that health is wealth, and that protecting the environment is vital to our collective survival.

Thank you for your continued interest and support of TOMI.

Sincerely,

 Dr. Halden Shane
 Chairman and CEO
