Train With Facebook, IDEO and NYTimes.com at ONA Digital Workshops


SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - September 16, 2009) - Looking for leading-edge training in how to tell stories with video or Django, making the most of Facebook APIs, or funding your latest media project?

The ONA09 Pre-Conference Workshops, unofficially opening the Online News Association's annual conference on Thursday, Oct. 1, at the San Francisco Hilton, provide expert, hands-on multimedia training and delve into new concepts in technology and digital thinking.

The six workshops feature instructors Chet Rhodes of washingtonpost.com; Richard Koci Hernandez of the University of California-Berkeley's Knight Digital Media Center; Aaron Pilhofer of The New York Times; the staff at IDEO, and Jan Schaffer of J-Lab at American University: The Institute for Interactive Journalism, who will offer a full day of success stories from media entrepreneurs across the country.

Fees are $50 for a half-day, $100 for a full-day for ONA members, and $60 and $160 for non-members.
