Sci-Fi Enthusiast Publishes His Own Sci-Fi Novel -- Ten Stories to Take Readers for An Out-of-This-World Experience With Richard Michael's Upcoming Ethereal Saga

NEW HAVEN, Conn., Sept. 17, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Science fiction fans are ecstatic as author Richard Michael spins ten out-of-this-world short stories with the release through leading self-publishing services provider Xlibris of his new novel, New Terra and Beyond.

Gripping and entertaining, this anthology includes superbly-written tales to fascinate the imaginative mind. The first tale, Odysseus, Inc., is the flagship tale and the nine that follow are sequels. Michael's rich characters tell their own stories, and if they really existed, they would be folks that readers could learn from. These interesting characters are loyal to each other and they even have an old-fashioned family with religious and patriotic values -- this, in a world where technology exists for people to instantly reach multitudes of earthlike planets, build civilizations, and increase and multiply exponentially.

"I hope we can raise future generations like the people in New Terra and Beyond, and I also hope readers will enjoy reading these tales as much as I enjoyed dreaming them," Michael says.

Readers are in for a wild ride as they delve into the utterly pristine and strange New Terra and Beyond. For more information on this book, log on to www.Xlibris.com.
