CDMA Development Group Announces Final Call For Nominations For 2009 3G CDMA Industry Achievement Awards

 WHAT:        Nominations for the 2009 3G CDMA Industry-Achievement
              Awards, which honor individuals and companies in
              the 3G CDMA industry, are now being accepted by the
              CDMA Development Group (CDG) at
              http://www.cdg.org/awards.  Nominations for the
              awards are open to the public and are due by
              Friday, October 2, 2009.  

              2009 3G CDMA Industry Achievement Awards candidates 
              can be nominated for the following categories:

                *  Industry Leadership
                *  Operator Leadership
                *  Subscriber Technology Innovation
                *  Network Technology Innovation

              There is also a write-in  category to propose an
              original award.

              The CDG is presenting Consumer Entertainment  
              Awards in partnership with the Mobile Entertainment
              Forum (MEF) (http://www.m-e-f.org) for the following
              categories:

                *  Innovation in Consumer Entertainment Services
                *  Innovation in Consumer Entertainment Services
                   Development

              The CDG is pleased to announce a partnership with RCR
              Wireless  News  (http://www.rcrwirelessnews.com) for
              Enterprise Solutions and Social and Economic Solutions,
              presenting the following awards, respectively:

                *  Innovation in Wireless Enterprise Solutions
                   Development
                *  Innovation in Wireless Social and Economic
                   Solutions Development

  WHO:        The CDMA Development Group is a trade association
              formed to foster the worldwide development,
              implementation and use of CDMA technologies. The more 
              than 140 member companies of the CDG include many of 
              the world's largest wireless carriers and equipment
              manufacturers. The primary activities of the CDG 
              include development of CDMA features and services,
              public relations, education and seminars, regulatory
              affairs and international support. Currently, there 
              are more than 500 individuals working within various
