JERSEY CITY, N.J., Oct. 8, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Eva Huston, an investment banker specializing in the information services sector, has joined Verisk Analytics as head of investor relations. She is responsible for managing the development and execution of the company's investor relations initiatives, including relationships with both buy-side institutional investors and sell-side research analysts. She will also oversee all communications with the investment community, including quarterly earnings reports.
In announcing the appointment, Verisk Analytics chief financial officer Mark Anquillare said, "Eva has a wealth of experience in capital markets and corporate finance. Prior to joining Verisk Analytics, Ms. Huston was a managing director of telecom, media, and technology investment banking at JPMorgan, where she was responsible for the marketing and information services practice. Her client base included companies providing data and analytics to a variety of industry verticals, such as consumer and media, financial services, insurance, and automotive. In the past five years, Ms. Huston raised more than $25 billion in equity and debt financing for her clients and advised clients on significant sector acquisitions. She received her bachelor of science degree in foreign service from Georgetown University.
