TOMI Environmental Solutions Enters Into LOI (Letter of Intent) to Purchase 100 Percent Equity Interest in ADTec

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Oct. 13, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TOMI Environmental Solutions (OTCBB:TOMZ) (www.tomiesinc.com) announced today an agreement in the form of a letter on intent to purchase a 100% equity stake in Advanced Disinfection Technologies, LLC (ADTec), a privately held company. ADTec develops and markets innovative disinfection products and services designed to revolutionize the way we clean and kill our most dangerous microorganisms. The Magnetic Resolution Activation (MRA(TM)) disinfection process, patent pending by ADTec, kills microorganisms on surfaces at a 99.9999% level and higher without leaving residue, damaging surfaces or electronics.

Dr. Halden Shane, TOMI's CEO commented, "We are excited about our perspective purchase and have been working closely with ADTec's talented Research & Development Team over the past few months to begin a testing and roll-out process to distribute the ADTec product line, starting with the Ultra-D Room Fogger. TOMI to complete the purchase of 100 percent equity stake based on the synergistic strengths of ADTec's strong research and product pipeline and TOMI's established commitment to provide cutting edge, economic and environmentally friendly solutions to our customers."

Jeff Szekely, Adtec's CEO, stated, "We have viewed TOMI Environmental Solutions as a significant strategic partner since our relationship began and our close collaboration over the past few months made this transaction a natural fit for our Company. TOMI is today's premiere Air Remediation Company and Infectious Disease Control Company with a focus on medical science, a perfect fit for all of our products."

The Ultra-D Room Fogger is ADTec's solution to quickly, conveniently and effectively Ultra-Disinfect an entire hospital room and all of its contents: beds, chairs, walls, laptop computers, ventilators, IV pumps, Pulse OX monitors, and any other sensitive electronics equipment. Also ideal for transport devices like wheelchairs, stretchers even bassinets or special care beds.

The Ultra-D Room Fogger is the most practical room cleaning technique available today. You simply place the Ultra-D Room Fogger in a room, and swipe your ID badge to start a 15 minute "dry-misting" process that Ultra-Disinfects (killing >99.9999% or 6 log of all harmful bacteria, viruses and spores) all the room surfaces while doing no damage to any surface including circuit boards, touch screens or wiring.

Conventional labor intensive methods of room cleaning with chemical disinfectants, rags, wipes and cotton swabs have proven to be very ineffective while damaging delicate touch screens and can take over 60 minutes per room.

Disinfection is a critical process in a vast number of industries. Over 100,000 people die a year as a result of HAI (hospital acquired infections), this equates to 271 people a day equal to a major air line crash and more then auto accidents, colon cancer, murders and aids combined. MRA(TM) technology can be adapted to hundreds of industry applications that will dramatically improve the war against microorganisms while significantly reducing the overall cost of disinfection.

About ADTec

ADTec began in 2007 as a research and development company to develop innovative disinfection products, patent them, and bring them to market working with engineering, manufacturing and distribution partners.

In 2008 ADTec developed and patented the MRA(TM) disinfection technology and began our development of the Ultra-D product line for commercial applications.
