Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) Announces the Call for Nominations for Its 2010 Energy Awards Program


PHOENIX, Dec. 1, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nominations are open for AESP's 2010 Energy Awards Program. The awards will be presented at AESP's 20th National Conference & Expo during the opening plenary session. Thanks to ICF International for sponsoring the awards program! AESP's 20th National Conference will be held February 8-12, 2010 at the Hilton El Conquistador in Tucson, AZ. This year's Host Utility is Tucson Electric Power and Host Sponsor is Comverge.

The awards program recognizes excellence in the energy services field in the following categories:

Outstanding Energy Efficient Technology Deployment of the Year

Outstanding Achievement in Marketing Communications

Outstanding Achievement in Marketing Research and Evaluation

Outstanding Achievement in Pricing and Demand Response

Outstanding Achievement in Energy Program Design or Implementation

B. H. Prasad Award for Outstanding Contribution to AESP (individual award)

"The awards program recognizes the best work being done in the energy efficiency industry," said AESP President and CEO Meg Matt. AESP is anticipating over 600 attendees for its 20th National Conference & Expo. "Our conference features the latest in energy efficiency, climate change, demand response, technology, program design and implementation, market research and evaluation, policy, marketing, pricing and more over the course of the four days," said Matt. She added that the sold out exhibit hall will feature 45 exhibitors who will be on hand to showcase their latest programs, services and technologies.
