Eesti Telekom leaves stock exchange and wishes to thank all investors


As of today, January 13th, 2010, shares of Eesti Telekom are no longer traded on
the Tallinn Stock Exchange. Eesti Telekom wishes to thank all investors who have
entrusted Eesti Telekom with the growth of their capital. Eesi Telekom has been 
among the best providers of dividend income throughout the history of Tallinn   
Stock Exchange.  
                                                               
Estonian Central Register of Securities transferred minority of share capital of
Eesti Telekom to TeliaSonera AB on January 12th, 2010. This finalized the end of
listing and as of today, Eesti Telekom shares are no longer traded on NASDAQ OMX
Tallinn main list.   
                                                           
Eesti Telekom was pleased to operate as a public company for 11 years. Eesti    
Telekom has received several awards for being the best public company in terms  
of investor relations in Estonia and Baltic countries. Also, Eesti Telekom has  
repeatedly received awards for having the best competitive strength among       
communication companies in Estonia and has been among most reputable companies  
in Estonia as well.
                                                       
Eesti Telekom belongs to the TeliaSonera group and thus it will remain to be    
part of public company. TeliaSonera AB shares are listed on Stockholm and

information society and will continue to develop its well-known brands EMT,

- Eesti Telekom has built mobile network with the best quality and the largest  
broadband and IT infrastructure. EMT/ Elion has 47% market share of mobile      
communication market and 80% of market share of broadband and fixed

Eesti Telekom has played a significant role in Estonian stock market and has    
been one of the best dividend payers. East Telekom was listed on London Stock   
Exchange in 1999 and therefore has also contributed to spreading information    
about Estonian economy and development of Estonian digital society.
