SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 19, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wanova, Inc., a provider of Distributed Desktop Virtualization software, today announced that Michele Borovac has joined the company as vice president of marketing, and Michael Fraser has joined as director of sales.
Prior to joining Wanova, Borovac served in marketing management roles for a variety of technology companies. At Decru, a NetApp company, she was director of marketing where she led global marketing efforts, from launching the company out of stealth mode to its ultimate acquisition by NetApp. Prior to that, she was a consultant to and acting VP of marketing at Miranda Media Networks, a Montreal-based video networking technology company. She also held marketing and business development positions at Electronics for Imaging, TakeFive Software and Oracle Corporation.
Michael Fraser joins Wanova from InstallFree, an application virtualization company, where he was director of sales. Before that, he held sales management positions at Touchbase USA, a Cisco reseller and Ardence, Inc., a virtualization company that was acquired by Citrix Systems. His experience also includes sales positions at technology companies including Valaran Corporation, Cyanea Systems, Unica Corp. and Onyx Software.

Borovac is also a member and past board president of Senior Coastsiders, a non-profit organization that helps senior citizens. She holds a bachelor degree in mass communications from the University of California at Berkeley and completed graduate work in public relations at the University of Washington.
Fraser holds a bachelor degree in management from the University of Massachusetts.
