As a professional engineer, Ms. Daugherty has worked over a year in the building industry, specifically on product approval certification for Florida Building Code and Miami-Dade County and Texas. Prior to this appointment, Kristina comes from an Environmental Engineering field where she specialized in wastewater, storm water, and irrigation design. With a passion for a sustainable environment and renewable energy, Building Drops will add another division to their company and Ms. Daugherty is spearheading this new division of Building Drops, called GreenWorks. This new division will offer “green” solutions to manufacturers in the window and door industry, as well as offer guidance on Energy Star Certification and Green Building rating credits (LEED, NAHB, FGBC). Ms. Daugherty is in the process of earning her Certified Green Professional (CGP) designation through NAHB to further become a leader in the coming “green” revolution.
Kristina earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.
