Kaon Announces Considerable Customer Momentum; Firm's Virtual Experiences Yield Cost Savings and Engage Customers

Stratus Technologies, JDSU, Dell, Xerium Technologies and Aviat Networks Among Those to Employ Interactive 3D Technology

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - March 16, 2010) -  Kaon Interactive, Inc., creators of 3D interactive sales and marketing solutions that bring products to life, today announced at EXHIBITOR2010 several new clients who are transforming their complex product stories into vivid and engaging customer experiences using Kaon's 3D interactivity. Stratus Technologies, JDSU, Dell, Xerium Technologies and Aviat Networks are all industry innovators who are leveraging Kaon's technology to differentiate and communicate product features and solution benefits through dynamic, interactive product models and solutions storytelling demonstrations.

Using Kaon's applications, each company is able to more intimately connect customers and prospects to their products and solutions, resulting in improved customer knowledge, and ultimately increased sales. Companies also enjoy significant cost-savings as products and prototypes can be presented virtually, drastically reducing shipping costs, particularly for those whose products are large and heavy.

Further, as their global footprints expand, additional savings can be achieved by not only replacing physical products with interactive "virtual" product models, but by bringing remote experts into the product presentation; the recently launched Kaon v-Connect Pro™ puts experts in front of prospects via a live audio/video feed, enhancing customer experiences and knowledge, and eliminating expert travel costs.

Customers have successfully employed Kaon's solutions in various venues across the globe, most often at tradeshows and in executive briefing centers on the award-winning Kaon v-OSK®, an integrated touch screen appliance. Kaon's interactive experiences are also leveraged on company websites and on sales teams' laptops.

New customer Aviat Networks, Inc., previously known as Harris Stratex Networks, Inc., the wireless expert in advanced IP network migration, recently deployed multiple Kaon v-OSKs in their booth at Mobile World Congress, one of the industry's most noteworthy events. Held in Barcelona, Spain, Aviat saved significantly in product shipping costs by replacing actual products in the booth with interactive virtual product demonstrations.

Dell, a leading technology provider to commercial enterprises around the world, has employed Kaon's solutions in a more multichannel manner. 3D product models developed for use on Kaon v-OSKs at more than a dozen shows are also being leveraged in a Kaon v-Brief® at Dell's executive briefing centers. The Kaon v-Brief weaves together virtual enterprise demonstrations, interactive flow diagrams, video, brochures, and presentations, to seamlessly simplify sophisticated solution stories.

JDSU, the leading provider of communications test and measurement solutions and optical products for telecommunications service providers, cable operators, and network equipment manufacturers, recently tapped Kaon to develop interactive products, which are delivered in Kaon's 3D PDFs.  Embedded with a dynamic and interactive product demonstration, these 3D PDFs can be posted on their website, sent via email, or loaded on a USB key so that customers have an interactive spec sheet to review and share.  This option also affords JDSU a far more eco-friendly approach to traditional paper-based sell sheets.

President and CEO of Kaon Interactive, Gavin Finn, said, "Kaon's platform has been built in response to the market's business needs and challenges. Especially in industries such as networking and telecommunications, where it's often difficult to articulate a complicated message in a crisp fashion, Kaon can simplify complexity using a graphical representation of a solution or product, and using engaging visuals to effectively communicate key benefits and features." Finn continued, "Kaon's customer base continues to grow because as increasingly complex industry solutions are developed, leading companies require sales and marketing tools that clearly explain their unique differentiation."
