MOBILE, Ala., March 18, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ThermaFreeze Products Corporation (Pink Sheets:TZPC), the maker of patented, innovative refrigerant products designed for use in the commercial shipment of perishables and for use as a consumer compress and chiller product, today announced the significant expansion of its retail distribution reach with the signing of several additional major retailers nationwide who have begun receiving shipments of the Company's ThermaFreeze product line.
Specifically, the Company has added two new sizable retailers, including the Piggly Wiggly chain of grocery stores with over 750 stores servicing communities in 18 states throughout the Southern and Midwestern regions of the United States, and the large Hy-Vee supermarket chain with over 220 retail stores in the Midwest. Both new distributors and store partners are currently accepting product from ThermaFreeze to stock store shelves as the industry enters the important spring and summer outdoor activity and picnic product season.
