MOBILE, Ala., March 30, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ThermaFreeze Products Corporation (Pink Sheets:TZPC), the maker of patented, innovative refrigerant products designed for use in the commercial shipment of perishables, and for use as a consumer compress and chiller products today announced it has agreed to sell its refrigerant products to many additional independently owned grocery stores that serve the five inner-city boroughs of New York City as well as certain New Jersey locations.
Specifically, the Company has completed agreements with Associated Supermarkets, Pioneer Supermarkets and the Met Foods organization of New York City neighborhood grocery stores. Importantly, each of these New York City area stores is largely supplied by White Rose Food, the largest independent wholesale food distributor in the New York City and New Jersey metropolitan areas, which in turn represent the biggest consumer market in the United States. White Rose Food supplies three primary product lines, including grocery, dairy and frozen, from its distribution centers located in Carteret and Avenel, NJ.
