Camelot Pinch Hits With New Title 'Screwball: The Ted Whitfield Story'

'The Wiffler' Becomes 'Screwball' for the Foreign Markets

LOS ANGELES, April 7, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB:CMGR) ("Camelot") announced today that The Wiffler: The Ted Whitfield Story will take on a new title – Screwball: The Ted Whitfield Story, just in time for MIPTV. The film is being distributed by Camelot Distribution Group.

"Over the past couple of months, we've noticed that The Wiffler was not translating very well in the international marketplace," commented Jessica Kelly, Camelot VP of Marketing and PR. "So, we conducted a focus group and renamed the film Screwball: The Ted Whitfield story.   The new title promotes the film as a comedy, keeps the baseball theme, and is easily comprehended by most cultures. We are very excited to unveil the new art campaign."

'Screwball' follows the rise and fall of Ted Whitfield as he becomes one of the greatest wiffleball players of all time, breaking the homerun record.

The film was produced and directed by Tommy Reid and was written by Ross Patterson.

The film stars Ross Patterson (Accepted, The New Guy, Garden Party), Joey Kern (Funnyordie.com, Super Troopers, Cabin Fever, The Goods), Christine Lakin (Race to Witch Mountain, "Step by Step"), Alanna Ubach (Meet the Fockers, Waiting, Legally Blonde II), Richard Grant (The Big Lebowski, Nutty Professor II, Rocky V), Richard Riehle (Office Space, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Halloween II), and Andy Milder ("Weeds", Frost/Nixon, Transformers).
