World Music Label ARC Music Joins the Naxos Family of Distributed Labels


FRANKLIN, TN and SUSSEX, UK--(Marketwire - May 3, 2010) -  Beginning on May 1, 2010, Naxos of America begins distribution of the renowned world music label ARC Music in the United States and Canada.

Founded in 1976 by Horst Tubbesing, ARC Music began with a few vinyl recordings, released under the label "Eulenspiegel." Its first recording -- the Bolivian EUCD1001 -- continues to sell after nearly 30 years. ARC Music now offers the largest selection of World and Ethnic Music from all corners of the world, featuring more than 700 titles from over 100 countries and cultures.
