'Electric, Eclectic Brain' Returns to HealthEast


ST. PAUL, MN--(Marketwire - May 5, 2010) - One of the most popular community education programs ever offered by HealthEast, 'The Electric, Eclectic Brain' is back. With updated content reflecting medicine's ever-expanding knowledge of the brain, 'The Electric, Eclectic Brain' offers a fascinating journey inside the body's "control center." 

This enlightening introduction to the functions of the human brain promises to ignite the imagination. During the three-part series, participants will hear about the latest technology from neurosurgeons and pathologists, visit the CyberKnife® Center, learn about our leading-edge tele-stroke services, as well as gain insights into Parkinson's disease, strokes, aneurysms and more.

Cost is $20 for all three workshops; to register, call 651-326-CARE (2273). The program is from 6:30 to 9 pm on:

  • Wednesday, May 19, 3M Education Center in the de Paul Tower at St. Joseph's Hospital;
  • Thursday, May 27, in the 7th floor conference center at Bethesda Hospital; and
  • Wednesday, June 2, 3M Education Center in the de Paul Tower at St. Joseph's Hospital.
