SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - May 12, 2010) - Barona Resort & Casino is asking guests to pick some of their lucky numbers for a chance to win in the Barona Lottery. From May 11 through June 22, players who earn 250 Club Barona POINTS can test their luck and play in weekly lottery drawings for a chance to win a share of $250,000 in cash prizes and instant giveaways.
"The Barona Lottery is just another fun way for our Club Barona members to win," said Greg Liggett, Director of Special Events and Promotions for Barona Resort & Casino. "For every visit that our loyal guests earn an entry, the opportunity increases to win the lotto cash rewards. Some lucky guests will even be awarded instant prizes, such as Coca-Cola products, memorabilia and t-shirts."
Guests can select five unique numbers between 1 and 42 or randomly selected numbers through a quick pick draw. The winning numbers will be drawn every Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. on the Fireside Stage.
The more numbers that guests match, the higher the cash prizes. Guests that match two numbers will win $50; match 3 numbers and win $500; match all 4 numbers and win $25,000! In the event that all 4 numbers are not matched, the top prize will roll over to the next week's drawing. Each consecutive week that it is not won, the jackpot will grow by $25,000.
For a chance at winning the big payout in the grand finale drawing, guests who earn 250 Club Barona POINTS can visit the lottery kiosks during the week of June 16-22 to receive an entry ticket. On June 22 at 8 p.m., a drawing will be held to distribute the final jackpot, a cash prize up to $125,000.
