SCHAUMBURG, IL--(Marketwire - May 26, 2010) - Omron Electronic Components LLC presented Heilind Electronics with the 2010 Best in Class North American distributor partner award at the annual Electronics Distribution Show in Las Vegas. Accepting the award on behalf of Heilind Electronics was Bob Clapp, President.
Criteria for the award was judged over Omron's fiscal year, ending March 21, 2010, and was determined by a proven performance record of strong sales and customer growth in North America. Over the evaluation period, Heilind was named as the Top chosen distribution partner from Omron's field sales force; they were most active at the sales level in both Mexico and the United States. Heilind continues to inventory and promote strategic products, resulting in connector sales growth of 50% year over year; and sales increased 32% second fiscal half over first. These achievements combined fully demonstrated the performance of a Best in Class recipient.
