NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - May 27, 2010) - Verdi Corrente Productions (VCP) has just wrapped production on its first feature film, a horror picture entitled Inkubus. VCP is already in talks with star Robert Englund to franchise the Inkubus brand, hiring writer Carl Dupré and director Glen Ciano to pen the next installment.

Inkubus, which stars Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), William Forsythe (Halloween), Joey Fatone (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Jonathan Silverman (Weekend at Bernie's), Mike Cerrone (Me Myself and Irene,) and Michelle Ray Smith (Salt), tells the story of a skeleton crew working the final shift at a soon-to-be demolished police station. The night takes a gruesome turn when the demon Inkubus shows up with a severed head and begins to confess to a litany of crimes, some dating back to the Middle Ages.
With the film now complete, VCP has launched the official Inkubus website, www.inkubusmovie.com. Inkubus director Glenn Ciano wants people to visit the site for all their Inkubus needs: "We'll be putting up behind the scenes footage, teasers and trailers, and plan to run a massive contest starting very soon."
Inkubus marks the first of four films VCP will produce within the next twelve months, including Loosies, the story of a New York pickpocket staring Peter Facinelli (Twilight), the horror film Infected, and Paz, the real-life comeback story of Vinny Pazienza, the Rhode Island boxer who broke his neck and went on to become a world champion.
VCP will start pre-production on Loosies on Monday. The film will be shot on location beginning in early July and is set to wrap sometime this August.
