Enterprise Content Management Vendor Nuxeo Named to VARGuy Open Source 50 Leader List

Recognized With RedHat, Canonical, Acquia and Other Innovators in Open Source Channel Programs

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - June 8, 2010) -  Nuxeo, the Open Source Enterprise Content Management (ECM) company, today announced that it has been named to The Open Source 50, which ranks the top open source channel programs, and recognized as one of the top 25 open source companies embracing the IT channel.

The Open Source 50, an annual survey by Nine Lives Media and IT channel site TheVARGuy.com, evaluates variables such as the size, influence and annual growth of the partner ecosystem, as well as the percent of revenue derived from channel partners. Included on the list for the first time, Nuxeo is pleased join other open source companies with strong channel programs.

Nuxeo's Galaxy Partner Program includes global partners comprised of systems integrators, consultants and solutions providers who build content-centric applications on the open source Nuxeo Enterprise Platform (Nuxeo EP).

Recent successes include Galaxy partner metaLogic, offering email capture and content management applications for industries such as construction, manufacturing and insurance. metaLogic recently released Lotus Notes IMT for Nuxeo ECM, a new solution for Lotus Notes customers looking to migrate from Domino Document Manager or integrate Notes and Domino applications to the Nuxeo open source ECM platform.

Galaxy partner Carnegie Technology Associates (CTA) offers a life sciences ECM system based on the Nuxeo platform. CTA's application handles the onerous content management requirements that the highly regulated biotech, pharmaceutical and medical research markets face.

"We expect 2010 to continue to be an exciting time for open source ECM and we recognize that our channel program is a major part of our mission to bring meaningful content management applications to enterprise customers," said Eric Barroca, CEO of Nuxeo. "Nuxeo is honored by this recognition and is committed to working closely with our Galaxy partners to accelerate adoption of the Nuxeo platform. Our application partners are especially important right now, helping open up new markets by wrapping their domain expertise around our software. This is great timing, as Nuxeo will be announcing an exciting range of new alliances over the coming weeks."
