LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - June 8, 2010) - Sinaiko Healthcare Consulting, Inc., one of the nation's leading independent healthcare management consulting firms, today announced that it has appointed Curtis Bernstein as a director in the firm's valuation service line.
Bernstein, a Certified Public Accountant with multiple valuation credentials and extensive business valuation experience in the healthcare industry, will be responsible for participating in all aspects of the firm's valuation practice. This includes providing technical advice and consultation, project administration, quality control, supervision of staff, client relations and new business development.
Prior to joining Sinaiko Healthcare Consulting, Bernstein was senior manager for business valuation at HealthCare Appraisers. He was formerly an assistant controller at Tenet Health Systems and a staff accountant at a public accounting firm.

Bernstein earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting at the University of Buffalo and a masters degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University. He also spent four years as an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic. Bernstein is a Certified Public Accountant, Accredited in Business Valuation by the AICPA, a Certified Valuation Analyst and an Accredited Senior Appraiser.
