Paciolan's Innovative Product Offerings 'Seal the Deal' for UVA

IRVINE, CA and CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA--(Marketwire - June 24, 2010) -  Paciolan, the leading provider of venue enablement solutions in college athletics, announced today that the University of Virginia (UVA) has renewed its long-term partnership to continue the use of several innovative product offerings. By leveraging Paciolan's integrated ticketing, marketing and fundraising solutions, UVA has been able to offer Cavalier fans the ability to purchase, transfer, print at home and resell their tickets online. These online solutions streamline the ticketing process and also provide rich marketing intelligence the university can leverage for future revenue generation activities.

In addition to its digital ticketing success, UVA has implemented online ticket sales best practices to enhance their fans' buying experience. Cavalier fans can now purchase highly desired parking passes concurrent with their game ticket purchase. Clickable seat maps have also been added, which provide a view of any seat in relationship to its location within the stadium. Additionally, the university can also cross-sell other items to generate additional revenue, such as fan t-shirts and popular chair backs.

Paciolan's e-mail tool "PACMail" also allows UVA to pull data from their customer database and send customized marketing letters to fans to promote upcoming games. These mailings can also be used to remind season ticket holders about the option to transfer tickets to friends or family.
