National Instruments Highlights Benefits of SolRayo Electrochemical Test System (ETS) for Researchers Prototyping New Energy Storage Technology

MADISON, WI--(Marketwire - June 24, 2010) -  Enable IPC Corporation's (PINKSHEETS: EIPC) subsidiary, SolRayo, Inc., today announced that National Instruments has published a case study on its website describing SolRayo's use of trusted NI modular instrumentation and NI LabVIEW software to create a sophisticated, multi-featured electrochemical test system (ETS) potentiostat. The SolRayo ETS automates performance characterization of energy storage devices to speed prototyping of next generation battery, capacitor, and fuel cell technologies. The case study can be found at www.ni.com/solrayo.

SolRayo's ETS potentiostat includes user-friendly software written in LabVIEW, a popular graphical programming environment that provides an innovative, user-friendly interface that enables parallel execution of testing to speed development. The software allows a beginning user to get up and running quickly and smoothly, while sophisticated users are able to immediately specify advanced settings as required for their particular application.

NI Senior Product Manager for Clean Energy Technology, Brian MacCleery, said, "Breakthroughs in energy storage are needed for a clean energy future, and the industry is asking for tools that enable prototype designs to be characterized more quickly. The SolRayo ETS is a state-of-the-art system that should help speed the pace of innovation. We are pleased that NI modular instrumentation hardware and LabVIEW helped SolRayo and Enable IPC bring this system to market."

SolRayo's CEO Dr. Mark Daugherty said, "Customers using our ETS potentiostat system have been thrilled with its out-of-the-box usability, speed and flexibility. NI hardware is second-to-none in its performance, and LabVIEW has allowed us to create a unique, easy-to-use software interface with parallel testing capabilities. This combination has a lot to do with the high level of customer satisfaction we're seeing."
