2010 BioBusiness Asia Conference Coming in July

TAIPEI, TAIWAN--(Marketwire - July 1, 2010) - The 2010 BioBusiness Asia (BBA) organized by the Industrial Technology Research Institute with the theme of "Energizing BioBusiness in Asia" will be held on July 20th-21st this year at Grand Hyatt, Taipei. Steven Burrill, CEO of the global healthcare venture capital firm Burrill & Company, recognized as "Warren Buffet" in the biotech investment area, will share his vision about biotech global trend and explore the development of biotech venture capital. In addition, Allen Chao, former CEO of Watson Pharmaceuticals, will share the key success factors in developing generic drugs market. Approximately 30 biotech and venture capital experts from China, Japan, U.S., Germany, Australia, and Taiwan will participate in BBA this year, exchanging current developments of the biotech industries in different countries. Over 23 major international biotech companies are expected to participate the one-on-one "Business to Business Partnering" session. The session is a great opportunity for venture capitalists to network with the biotechnology businesses in Taiwan and explore collaborative opportunities with Asian biotech companies.

Since 2002, BBA has been successfully attracting elites from the biotech industry, and has become the largest biotech business information exchange and meeting platform in Asia.
