MARLBOROUGH, MA--(Marketwire - July 8, 2010) - Egenera Inc. announced today that Fujitsu Technology Solutions has extended its OEM agreement with the company, and will continue selling the Fujitsu PRIMERGY BladeFrame line of servers. The original OEM arrangement was signed in 2005 under the Fujitsu Siemens name.
Egenera also recently announced BladeFrame support for Intel's latest Xeon® 5600 series processors. PRIMERGY BladeFrame servers leverage PAN Manager® Software by Egenera® to deliver a simple-to-manage, converged infrastructure platform with inherent high availability and disaster recovery for both physical and virtual workloads.
