POP Launches Experience Strategy Practice -- Hires Laura Porto Stockwell to Lead

Strategy Veteran to Support Digital Agency's Expansion


SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - July 19, 2010) -  POP, a leading digital agency that works with global brands like Target, Electronic Arts, and Microsoft, today announced that Laura Porto Stockwell has been hired as Vice President of Experience Strategy. In this new role, Laura will lead POP's team of talented user experience strategists to develop innovative cross-channel digital experiences that are centered on business goals, consumer insights and market intelligence. POP's investment in the Experience Strategy group reflects the agency's commitment to delivering innovative interactive experiences to its Fortune 1000 clients. Laura will report to Bill Predmore, Founder and President of POP, and will be based in POP's Seattle office.

Leveraging over 15 years of experience developing digital brands, content and social media strategies, Laura will lead the Experience Strategy team to help POP's clients better connect with their customers. The Experience Strategy practice will offer user experience architecture, content strategy, social media strategy, consumer and market insight, and research.

Prior to joining POP, Laura was the Senior Director of Digital Strategy at WONGDOODY and VP, Digital Strategy + User Experience at Publicis in the West. Prior to Publicis, Laura was an Experience Director in the New York and Seattle offices of Razorfish, where she also served as a subject matter expert in social media. She has worked with clients including T-Mobile, Condé Nast, Ford Motor Company, Microsoft and Sony Music. Laura speaks regularly at industry events and is a guest lecturer at the University of Washington's Information School. She holds a Master of Arts in Media Studies with a concentration in social media from The New School in New York City and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
