LiveTV has owned and operated the Airfone Air-to-Ground Network, which also services the Magnastar® voice and PBX system, since 2009. This network reliability remains at an all time high with industry leading reliability.
The data services launched last year are simple and priced for the cost conscious operator. To add data to their aircraft, a Magnastar® customer has no installation cost since the data hardware is portable. And at less than $15K for the hardware, the cost to enable an aircraft with wi-fi is half of comparable systems. The key is the new Airfone equipped network that enables unlimited airtime at a flat rate of $299 per month enabling unlimited data service that support wi-fi enabled BlackBerry® and iPhone® smartphones.
